Managed Accounts
Take Advantage of Professional Money Management
Our fee-based investment advisory services give you the broadest opportunities in investing without commissions but rather a small percentage fee of your total assets under management. Managed accounts offer a wide variety of investments including stocks, bonds, mutual funds and ETF’s and they offer the flexibility to adjust your portfolio based on market conditions and to meet your goals
Our Investment advisory services are provided by Hal Schwartz of the Del Mar Group and are based on 3 simple guiding principles:
1. We treat your money as if it was our own!
Simply put, on any given day up to 70% of your money is invested where our money is invested. If our recommendations are good enough for you, then we should certainly take our own advice! Conversely, if it is good enough for us, why are we not recommending it to clients, if applicable? Driving this is the overall consideration of what is best for our clients.
2. We do not solicit additional funds…our results speak for us!
When you receive your monthly, quarterly, or annual statements and compare the results with what is happening in the market, we are confident enough that if additional funds are available you will contact us. So, we simply let the results speak for themselves and trust our clients to do what is right for them and their particular goals in terms of funds for additional investment.
Our referral business is very strong. Clients refer us for many reasons including the appreciation of the work and results we achieve for them and our unbiased approach to product selection. And, equally important, our strategies are not only designed specifically for them; they are working for them and they like the personal service and attention they receive whether it is a question regarding their statement or status on market happenings.
3. We provide you a unique way to measure how we are doing!
As an investor very few people have an objective way to measure the effectiveness of advisors. As an example, often someone will tell us they “think” their advisor is doing well because they earned 8% on their investments. However is that 8% in a 12% world or 8% in a 3% world? Years ago we decided to make sure our clients are able to objectively measure our results not by just their annual return but by demonstrating our results compared to what is happening in the investment world. To that end, our annual reviews contain not only the results we have achieved over the past year, but a chart showing the five most common indexes used to measure market performance for the same period of time. Our stated goal each year is to achieve results at least one percent better than the best of those indexes. By providing these tools our clients are able to objectively measure what Del Mar Group has achieved for them.
